The story of Texas Electric includes examples of virtually all kinds of electric railway operations. It’s beginnings were in the streetcar lines of Denison and Sherman. Later, there was a variety of streetcar operations ranging from a single-car system in McKinney to a rather large system in Waco — with others in between.
